compareTo

int compareTo(Object other,
              boolean descending)

Compare this object to another depending on whether the sort order is descending or ascending. Note that if descending is false it should return the same value as compareTo(Object other) but the value this method returns when descending is true is NOT necessarily the opposite of when descending is false.

Parameters:

other - the other Object to compare to.

descending - true if descending, false if ascending.

Returns:

Less than 0 for this object to come before the other, greater than 0 for this object to come after the other, 0 for the objects to be considered the same.
